Me before You, Jojo Moyes

Book Reviews English

After losing her job in a café, due to many financial problems in her family, Lou Clark doesn’t have any choice but to accept a job as a caretaker for Will Traynor, a very rude quadriplegic. The more time she spends with him, the more she understands how much influence he has on her, and how much he changes her view of life.

Not only did this book give me some good insight into a quadriplegic’s life, but it made me think about life’s worth and happiness. As a love story, integrated in an interesting situation, I loved this book because it wasn’t just a factual description of a quadriplegic’s life nor an overromantic typical love story, but something in between.
